Most people who miss out on money do not know it. Not because it is complicated, but because it is fragmented: the property valuation arrives in February, the fine in May, the subscription has been running for four years already and the customer's invoice has been there since last year. Each piece separately is manageable; together no one sees it. Moneyscan goes through eleven questions across six life domains and puts an amount under each.
That amount is the point on which this platform stands or falls, and therefore it comes about in only two ways. Either it is calculated from a figure that the visitor entered themselves, and then the calculation stands literally next to it so they can check it against their own assessment. Or it stands in a law, and then the article number is included with the date on which we incorporated that rule. If neither applies, then there is no amount — the money item appears anyway, with the reason included.

Where it is found
The search field is life event × money question: "is my property valuation too high", "when does an invoice expire", "how much collection costs can I charge", "delayed flight compensation". People search on their own situation and not on the name of a scheme, and there are thousands of these per municipality, per fact code and per country.
Frequently asked questions
Will I actually get that amount?
We do not know, and so we do not promise it either. The amount is what is at stake: what you can claim back, dispute or collect. Whether a municipality, the Tax Authority or a counterparty agrees with you is up to them. That is why every money item carries a certainty label and the calculation is included.
Do I have to log in with DigiD or provide my citizen service number?
No, and that will never change. The scan works on self-reporting: you enter what you know. No documents are requested and income is asked in steps, not to the euro.
Why can I not email the result to myself?
Because then we would give away the worked out report in exchange for an email address, and that is not a good trade for either of us. The result itself remains free and fully on screen; anyone who wants to download the report or have their items monitored creates an account.
