A letter arrives that you disagree with. A fine, an assessment, a benefit you must repay, an allowance that is being stopped. The letter states you have six weeks to file an objection, and below it a paragraph in official language that does not explain how. Most people put such a letter away with the idea of looking at it later, and later is then too late.

bezwaarfix is the umbrella over eight websites, each covering one type of decision. You submit the decision, answer a short series of questions, and hear for free whether an objection has a chance. Even if the answer is no, with the reason included. If it does have a chance, the system drafts a complete objection document for a fixed fee that you sign yourself and file yourself.

What it does

The free chances check

Per decision type its own set of decision rules. The outcome is promising, uncertain or hopeless — and if hopeless, it states why, plus what it would cost you to try anyway.

The objection letter

Built from the grounds that match your answers, with an instruction: to which address, in which way, and before which date.

Two clocks

The six weeks you have, monitored from the date on the decision. And the deadline within which the administrative body must decide — if it does not decide in time, the system issues the notice of default.

One file for all cases

Whoever came in via a fine and later receives a WOZ assessment sees both in the same overview with the clock attached.

For whom

  • Private individuals with a decision they disagree with and do not want to pay a lawyer for
  • Small entrepreneurs with a refused permit or a withdrawn subsidy
  • Anyone who does not want to miss the deadline because the letter ended up at the bottom of the pile

Where it is found

People search for their own situation and not for the name of a law: "file an objection against", "how much time do I have", "municipality does not decide in time". The volume is spread throughout the year because each decision type has its own season.

Frequently asked questions

How much time do I have to file an objection?

As a rule six weeks, calculated from the day after the decision is announced. That deadline is firm. We calculate from the date on your decision and not from the moment you upload it, because that often makes a difference of weeks.

Do you file the objection for me?

No. We draft it, you sign it and you file it yourself. We never act on your behalf to an administrative body and do not request a power of attorney.

What if the government does not decide in time?

Then you can put the administrative body in default, and a penalty charge starts to run. We keep track of that deadline and draft the letter. You send that yourself as well.

Will I also be told that an objection makes no sense?

Yes, and that is intentionally written just as carefully as a yes. We are not an objection factory: a hopeless objection costs you time and gets nobody anything.

How this platform is built

Just like every Theos Group platform: on one shared foundation, in own management, with its own automatic administrator — here IG-11 — that runs the daily rounds, reports incidents and writes the daily report. What we learn at one system is implemented across all others the following week.
