A digital product passport for tyres is coming. The date is not yet fixed: ESPR work plan 2025-2030: delegated act expected in 2027. Those who start now will only need a button later.
The target audience is tyre importers, wholesalers, fleet managers. They don't search for "ESPR" or "delegated act" but for "tyre passport" — and this front door is built on that, with the knowledge base in the language of that sector.
Technically this is the same passport engine as the other front doors, with a group configuration on top: the fields, the standard references and the timeline of tyres for vehicles are a dataset and not code. Activating a new product group is therefore a front door plus a dataset, not a renovation.
